Perform the following steps for each SFS server:
Step 1: Add a READ link from the SFS server to the SAFESFS DBA mdisk as DBA.
Suggested methods are: adding a CP LINK command to the SFS profile exec, or updating the SFS USER DIRECT entry with the LINK.
Step 2: Copy DMSESM PROFILE to the SFS server
Copy the DMSESM PROFILE file from the SAFESFS 192 mdisk to the SFS server's 191 mdisk.
Step 3: Add ESECURITY record to the DMSPARMS file.
Add an ESECURITY record to the userid DMSPARMS file on the SFS servers A-Disk. Userid is the id of the SFS server. The ESECURITY record is a single line with ESECURITY on it.
Step 4: Update the SFS server's PROFILE EXEC.
Update the SFS server' s PROFILE EXEC by adding the following commands. This will access the SAFESFS DBA mdisk and load the SafeSFS SFS component product code.
`ACCESS DBA R'
SafeSFS security will be in place when SFS is restarted.
We do not recommend that you make the SafeSFS server an SFS file pool administrator, except temporarily when running the SAFECONV Utility.
